Apple-walnut-wholemeal cake

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 350 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 1 ½ tbsp baking powder
  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • ¼ liter of oil
  • 60 g walnuts
  • 3 apples (sour)
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the form
  • possibly powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Peel, quarter, and then dice the apples. Add the eggs, oil, nuts, and apples and mix. Grease a Bundt pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the batter into the pan and bake in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for one hour. Let cool slightly and turn out onto a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
