Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 sheets of puff pastry, square (45 g each), frozen
  • 2 apples
  • 40 g honey
  • 100 g quark
  • 100 g applesauce
  • 2 pinches of cinnamon powder
  • 50 g raisins
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry. Peel, core, and dice the apples. Combine the apples, honey, quark, applesauce, raisins, and cinnamon in a bowl. If the filling is very runny, press out some of the liquid with a spoon and skim it off. Roll out the pastry sheets slightly and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread the filling over the pastry sheets. Fold the pastry sheets together to form triangles. Whisk the egg yolk with the cream. Brush the filling over the triangles. Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
