for a 28cm springform pan

Roll out 2/3 of the dough in a springform pan (28 cm) and use the rest to form a rim. For the filling, prepare the custard powder with the wine, apple juice, sugar and vanilla sugar according to the package instructions. Peel, quarter, core and dice the apples, then add to the hot custard mixture. Pour everything onto the dough and spread evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at around 170 °C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 50 – 60 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Loosen the edge of the springform pan, remove it and let it cool for a further 3 – 4 hours.
