Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Mix the raisins with the rum and jam and let it sit (about 30 minutes). Peel the apples and core them with a corer. Bring the water to a boil with the wine, sugar, and spices. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the apples for about 15 minutes (they should still be firm to the bite). Then remove them from the bowls and immediately place them in dessert bowls. Fill with the jam mixture. Stud the apples all around with the almond slivers. Mix the custard powder with a little milk until smooth. Bring 300 ml of the apple wine mixture to a boil with the milk, stir in the custard powder, and simmer briefly while stirring. Pour over the apples, sprinkle with the walnuts, and drizzle with the chocolate sauce. Serve warm with dollops of whipped cream.
