very juicy

Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, baking powder, eggs, and butter. Halve the dough, wrap in cling film, and chill for 30 minutes. Roll out the first half of the dough on baking paper, then place it in a deep, rectangular baking sheet. Mix the applesauce with the cinnamon and raisins and spread it over the dough. Roll out the second half of the dough, spread it over the applesauce, and prick it several times with a fork. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 20-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. Mix the powdered sugar with water to form a thick glaze and spread it over the cake. It’s best to refrigerate the cake overnight to let it set.
