vegan, wholesome, fast

Knead flour, sugar, margarine, baking powder, and soy flour in a bowl. The mixture should form a crumbly dough. To help it hold together, add a splash of soy milk. Set aside about a third for the crumble topping. Knead the rest into a dough, adding a little more soy milk as needed until the dough holds together well. It shouldn’t be runny, though. Heat the applesauce and whisk in the custard powder. Sweeten with a little sugar, if desired. Spread the dough out with your hands on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spoon over the applesauce mixture and sprinkle the crumble topping with your hands. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180°C and finish baking for 35 minutes.
