Apricot and Jam Toast with Chia Seeds

The perfect apricot and jam toast with chia seeds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Apricot jam

  • 0,5 tsp Chia seeds
  • 0,5 tsp Margarine
  • 100 g Dried apricots
  • 75 ml Water
  • 50 ml Orange juice
  • 1 tbsp Agave syrup
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  1. For the jam, cut the apricots into small pieces and bring to the boil with the water and orange juice. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the agave syrup and lemon juice and puree. Then transfer to a glass and let it cool down.
  2. For the toast, toast the whole grain slice and then brush with a little margarine. Apply jam to taste and sprinkle with the chia seeds. Consume immediately.
