Ingredients

  • 500 g Pineapple fresh
  • 1 large can Apricots
  • 1 splash Lemon
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1

Instructions

  • After fresh pineapple was offered on a weekly offer slip, I got the idea to try a pineapple jam ... said done ... here is the result:
  • Remove the pulp from the pineapple peel and cut into small pieces
  • I chose apricots as a combination fruit. Unfortunately, the fresh fruits are not as aromatic at the moment as if canned fruits had to believe in them.
  • Puree the finely chopped pineapple, add the apricots and also send through the blender. Add a very thick squeeze of lemon and put in the pot
  • Bring the fruit pulp with the preserving sugar to the boil and continue to simmer according to the instructions on the packet
  • Fill the jars with hot water, close the lid and turn the jars upside down
  • Now just enjoy ...
