Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 gherkins
  • 2 m.-sized apples, sour (e.g. Boskoop)
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 500g spaghetti
  • salt water
  • 200 g cheese for topping
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pasta bake with a twist

Sauté the finely chopped onions in the fat until translucent, add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Cut the cucumber and apple into small pieces, add to the meat along with the yogurt, ketchup, rum, mustard, salt, and paprika, and simmer. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti, drain well, and place in a buttered casserole dish. Spread the meat mixture over the top, sprinkle with the cheese, and bake at 200°C until the cheese has melted.
