Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 piece(s) Ghee, walnut-sized
- 250g basmati
- 600 ml water, boiling
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
Melt the ghee in a saucepan. Once the ghee is hot, add the basmati rice and sweat until translucent, with the rice grains turning more like white. Immediately add the hot water with a pinch of salt. Stir briefly and continue to simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. The water should be completely absorbed by the rice. A heavenly rice treat!
