Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 2 kg pork neck
- 3 bay leaves
- 7 peppercorns
- 3 lemons
- 150 ml mineral water
- 2 tsp salt and pepper
- 2 cl vodka
- 500 g onion(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes
Cut the pork neck into cubes and place in a suitable pot. Peel the onions, slice them into rings, and add them. Halve the lemons and squeeze them over the meat. Then slice the squeezed lemons and add them to the pot. Add enough mineral water to almost cover the meat. Add the vodka, bay leaves, and peppercorns, and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything carefully and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours. String them onto skewers and grill! The onions should be eaten with the meat; they’re also delicious if you place them on aluminum foil and grill them. You can also omit the vodka. This goes very well with rice and salad.
