Aronia and grape jam

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g aronia berries, ripe
  • 50 g water
  • 600 g grape juice, preferably from freshly pressed grapes
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • ½ organic lemon(s), zest and juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 14 minutes; Total time approx. 44 minutes

Simmer the aronia berries with the water for about 10 minutes until the berries are soft. Then puree them finely with a hand blender. Then combine with the grape juice, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Then stir in the sugar and mix well. Boil the mixture according to the gelling sugar instructions for about 4 minutes until foaming. Then pour into boiled jam jars.
