- 100 g buffalo mozzarella, alternatively cow’s milk mozzarella
- 30 g ham, mildly smoked, without fat, e.g. turkey ham
- 8 cherry tomatoes or date tomatoes
- some basil leaves, fresh
- Pepper, freshly ground
- Salt
- some lemon juice
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Wash the arugula, spin it dry, and spread it out on a large plate or platter. Wash the figs, quarter them, and place them on top of the arugula. Cut the mozzarella and ham into pieces, halve the cherry tomatoes, and add them to the arugula. Finely chop the basil and scatter it on top. Grind the pepper over it and add a little salt. Mix the balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, and olive oil together well to make a vinaigrette. The vinaigrette should be nice and creamy, and then spread evenly over the salad. You can serve it with fresh baguette. The salad also looks great on any buffet and makes a great side dish for a barbecue.
