Pork schnitzel with mushrooms and cucumbers

Slice the onions into rings and sauté in butter until translucent. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Dice the cucumbers. Drain the canned mushrooms. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and mustard. Place each steak on a sufficiently large piece of aluminum foil. Distribute the onions, cucumbers, and mushrooms over the steaks. Seal the aluminum foil. Place the packages in the oven for half an hour. Turn off the oven. Open the packages slightly to release some liquid. Leave them open in the residual heat of the oven for a quarter of an hour. The Aschbrätel can be served on a slice of bread. Note from the Chefkoch editorial team: If you don’t want to use aluminum foil, you can replace it with baking paper or parchment paper.
