Asian Cucumber Salad

The perfect asian cucumber salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Snake cucumber approx. 450 g
  • 1 piece Ginger the size of a walnut
  • 1 Red chilli pepper
  • 2 tbsp Light rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame
  • 3 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 3 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  1. Wash the cucumber, peel it with a garnish peeler and slice it into thin slices. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without oil. Peel the ginger and dice it very finely. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash, halve lengthways and cut into fine strips. Put all ingredients (cucumber slices, diced ginger, chili pepper strips, 2 tbsp light rice vinegar, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp roasted sesame, 3 big pinches of coarse sea salt from the mill and 3 big pinches of colored pepper from the mill) in a bowl , mix well and fill into 2 serving bowls.
