Asian fried noodles

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 200 g Chinese egg noodles
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can of bamboo shoots
  • 1 can of bean sprouts
  • 2 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce, dark
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp spice mix (Chinese spice)
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash the chicken breast, pat dry, cut into pieces, and marinate in sambal oelek and dark soy sauce (approx. 30 minutes). Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Combine the sesame oil, oil, and light soy sauce in a wok and heat. Sear the meat in the mixture until crisp. Then add the carrots, onions, and bamboo shoots and stir-fry. Add the cooked noodles and season with plenty of Chinese spice and crushed garlic. Add the bean sprouts and continue to stir-fry until the desired browning is achieved.
