Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 180 g rice
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 500 g Chinese cabbage
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 6 tbsp chili sauce, sweet and spicy
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 lime(s), juice
  • possibly coriander leaves or parsley for sprinkling

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. In the meantime, deseed the chili pepper and cut into small rings. Grate and quarter the mushrooms. Wash the Chinese cabbage and cut into fine strips. Wash the chicken breast fillet and cut into cubes. Wash the spring onions and cut into rings. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat. Then stir in the mushrooms, chili pepper, spring onions, and Chinese cabbage one after the other. Sauté for a few minutes. Season with the sauces and season to taste with salt, pepper, and lime juice. Sprinkle with chopped coriander or parsley, if desired. Serve with the rice.
