Asparagus and minced meat pan with rice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, white and/or green
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 400 ml hollandaise sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cook 2 cups of rice in 3 cups of water in a rice cooker (or in a saucepan according to the package instructions). Trim and peel the asparagus (from top to bottom, cutting off and discarding the end), then cut into several (approx.) 2-3 cm pieces. Then cook (10-15 minutes). Brown the ground beef until cooked through and season with salt and pepper if desired. Remove from the heat and set aside until the rice and asparagus are ready. If you put the rice on the stove/in the rice cooker right at the beginning, both should be ready at the same time. While you wait, heat the hollandaise sauce. Drain the asparagus and add it to the ground beef in the pan until lightly browned. Add the rice and mix everything well. Pour the hollandaise sauce over the plate and enjoy.
