Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg asparagus
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup of cream
- 200 g ham (cooked ham)
- salt and pepper
- 1 pc. puff pastry (frozen)
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel the asparagus and cook for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, line a springform pan with the thawed puff pastry. Drain the asparagus and cut into small pieces. Chop the cooked ham and add it to the pan along with the asparagus. Whisk the egg yolk and cream, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the egg cream over the asparagus and ham and bake at 190°C in a preheated convection oven for about 45 minutes. Please do not use a silicone baking pan, as this will make the cake soggy.
