Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 12 stalk(s) asparagus, white
- 50 g butter, liquid
- Thyme leaves, fresh
- lemon zest
- Sea salt, coarse
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Place 6 asparagus spears on each large piece of aluminum foil. Sprinkle with thyme, a little salt, and grated lemon zest, and pour over the butter. Seal the foil into a small package. Bake at 160°C for approximately 20-25 minutes. We like to serve this with new potatoes, Serrano ham, and cooked ham, and a nice fruity white wine. I’ve never prepared the asparagus any other way since.
