Asparagus from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g lean ham
  • 3 balls of light mozzarella (125 g each)
  • 1 ½ kg asparagus (white or green)
  • 500 ml hollandaise sauce (homemade or ready-made product)
  • Basil, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the mozzarella into about 16 slices and wrap the ham slices with two basil leaves (1 slice for each ham slice). Cook the asparagus until al dente and place it in a baking dish. Place the ham and mozzarella rolls on top and cook at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Then pour the hollandaise sauce over the top. You can also season it with finely chopped basil.
