Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 21 minutes

simple, summery, delicious

Clean the leeks and cut them to the same length as the ham slices. Remove all of the dark green parts. Also, make sure to remove any sand that may be stuck to the leeks. Boil the leeks in salted water for six minutes, drain well, rinse in cold water, and dry thoroughly with kitchen paper. In the meantime, mix the cream cheese with the milk until creamy and season with salt and pepper. Spread a thin layer, leaving about 1 teaspoon, onto the ham slices. Place a leek on each slice of ham and roll everything up. Spread the remaining teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture over the rolls and decorate with the chives. It tastes best served lukewarm, but they are also delicious cold. This amount is enough as a light summer appetizer for two people.
