Asparagus pasta pan with ham and cream

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (small, e.g. Gabelletti)
  • 300 g asparagus, fresh or frozen and peeled
  • 200 g ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 300 ml water
  • 150 g cheese, grated, (Emmental)
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix everything together and simmer, so easy!

Finely chop the onion, ham, and asparagus (peel fresh asparagus). Combine all ingredients except the cheese in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the cheese and simmer for another two minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking. It’s perfect for a quick weeknight meal. It tastes absolutely delicious, especially since the pasta is cooked right along with the asparagus!
