Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg minced meat, half and half
  • 5 red bell peppers
  • 5 green bell peppers
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 6 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 750 ml chili sauce
  • 500 ml sauce (Asian sauce sweet – hot)
  • 100 g tomato ketchup
  • 5 can/n kidney beans, drained weight 250g
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Brown the ground beef in a large pot. Peel the onions, slice them into wedges, and sauté them with the garlic in a pan until translucent, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Clean the bell peppers and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Place the beans in a colander and rinse them. Add the sautéed onions, bell peppers, and beans to the fried ground beef. Add the sauces and ketchup, season with salt, pepper, and chili powder, and simmer gently for about 1 hour in the pot, uncovered. Season again with salt, pepper, and chili powder.
