Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • e.g. herbs, dried, seeds and/or kernels

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add milk and oil and knead into a dough using the dough hook of the mixer. If necessary, knead by hand. Let the dough rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Then knead thoroughly again and shape into a loaf. Score it into diamond shapes with a sharp knife. Bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for 45 minutes. Option 1: If desired, you can knead in dried herbs or seeds and kernels. Then continue processing as usual. Option 2: Instead of a large loaf, form small rolls and arrange them in a bread wheel, etc. and knead in various herbs and nuts. Baking time: 25 minutes, depending on the size. It is best to do a skewer test.
