sweet snack for coffee, easy to make
First, prepare the filling. Melt the chocolate. To do this, combine the butter, cocoa, milk, and sugar in a bowl and mix everything well. At the end, stir in the melted chocolate. Place the bowl in the refrigerator. Use a second bowl for the dough. Mix the butter with the sugar. Add the flour, cocoa, and baking powder and mix again. Now add the honey and milk to the bowl and mix everything together. It won’t bind properly at first, but keep stirring anyway. Add a little more milk if necessary, but not too much; the dough should be quite dry. Roll out the dough between two sheets of baking paper and cut into 6 x 12 cm rectangles. You’ll need two rectangles for one Tim Tam! Bake the rectangles at 170°C for about 8 minutes. Now we need the filling again to cover each rectangle. Then place the second rectangle on top, making a small “cake sandwich.” Press the rectangles together slightly and spread the squeezed-out filling with a knife. To make the glaze, melt the chocolate over a pan of hot water. Dip the bottom of the Tim Tams into the melted chocolate and pour the remaining chocolate over the Tim Tams. Tim Tams are a sweet snack that’s often served with coffee.
