  • 2 leaves of basil or coriander
  • 1 tsp lime juice or lime oil
  • 1 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Halve the ripe avocado, remove the pit, and squeeze a squeeze of lime juice or lime oil into the resulting indentations. Then add the chopped basil or cilantro leaves and the chopped walnuts. Season with salt and pepper and serve. Perfect as a healthy appetizer or barbecue side dish. For a variation, you can also add your favorite cream cheese to the indentations and try adding other flavors of thyme and oil. A very versatile appetizer to scoop out.
