Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 honeydew melon(s)
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp apple juice
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder (hot)
  • Spice mix, Chat Marsala (Indian)
  • Honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Dice the honeydew melon and avocado; the hollowed-out melon can be used later as a serving bowl. Finely chop the onion and mix with the vinegar, oil, ketchup, apple juice, honey, and spices to make a dressing. Marinate the melon and avocado cubes in it for at least an hour. Stir occasionally. Finally, chop the iceberg lettuce and add it. The salad can be served as a side dish or with cheese, turkey, or ham strips as a summer main course or party salad.
