Avocado – Strawberry – Appetizer

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries, fresh
  • 1 avocado(s), very ripe
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 1 dashes Balsamic vinegar, white
  • Salt and pepper, white

Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice evenly. Season with honey, a pinch of salt, and a little pepper, and toss to combine. Peel and pit the avocado, then slice into slices roughly the same size as the strawberry slices. Immediately drizzle with lemon juice. Gently mix the strawberry and avocado slices together briefly and arrange on a large, flat plate. Drizzle with a few drops of balsamic vinegar. This light appetizer is delicious on a warm summer evening and is also perfect for a meal, as it’s quick to make and looks great. It pairs well with fresh baguette and a fruity white wine, such as Muscat Yellow.
