Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 leg(s) of duck
- Salt
- pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled, crushed
- 1 sprig(s) rosemary, fresh or 1/2 tsp dried
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Wash the duck leg, pat dry. Season with salt and pepper, and heat the fat side down in a cold pan. Tip: If you heat the duck leg/breast in a cold pan, more fat will render. Sear on all sides. Add the garlic cloves and rosemary, and place the pan in a preheated oven at 160-180°C for about 30 minutes, depending on the weight. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 5 minutes. You can make a sauce from the cooking fat to taste. You can also fry sliced boiled potatoes in the cooking fat. Serve with a salad.
