Baby biscuits with fruit

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g whole grain oat flakes
  • 30 g muesli (children’s fruit muesli, organic)
  • 200 g fruit of your choice, age-appropriate

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

from the 9th month, healthy and delicious

Place the whole-grain oats and muesli in a small mixing bowl. Purée the age-appropriate fruit (peel first if necessary) and add it to the bowl, then mix everything together. Then, using a tablespoon, divide the well-mixed mixture into approximately 20 small, finger-thick baby biscuit portions on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 160°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 15-20 minutes. The biscuits will stay nice and soft and not become crunchy. If you prefer a sweeter biscuit, you can try 200g of banana, for example. Alternatively, you can also combine two different types of fruit. Recommended, and approved by babies, are 100g banana/pear or apple/mango. The biscuits will keep in a Tupperware container for at least three days, provided they are not eaten by baby and dad beforehand. Please let the cookies cool before closing the box to prevent condensation from forming inside. There’s plenty of information online to help you determine which fruits are suitable for babies at what age.
