Bacon Fat

The perfect bacon fat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Bacon
  • 0,25 piece Lard
  • 2 piece Peeled garlic clove
  • Marjoram
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Cut the bacon into small cubes and leave in a pan
  1. Add the pork lard and garlic, when the bacon cubes are slightly brown, stir in the remaining ingredients and continue for about 15 minutes. Let simmer on a low flame.
  1. Pour the liquid fat into a container (the diced bacon can be added as desired). Stir every now and then so that the cubes of bacon and the spices are evenly distributed.
