Bacon-Feta-Mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms (giant)
  • 200 g bacon, sliced
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 handful of chives
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

For grilling or oven cooking

Finely chop the herbs, press the garlic, and place them in a bowl with the feta and oil, then mash with a fork. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Fill the mushroom caps with the feta mixture and wrap each cap with two or three slices of bacon. Then either grill the mushrooms or bake them in the oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
