Mushrooms stuffed with feta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 shallots
  • 400 g mushrooms, large
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 150 g herb cream cheese
  • n. B. Thyme
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

easy and fast

First, clean the mushrooms, remove the stems, and chop them slightly. Peel and dice the shallots, then fry them with the diced ham and mushroom stems in heated clarified butter for about 5 minutes. Crush the feta cheese and mix it with the cream cheese, thyme, and the ham and onion mixture. Season the stuffing with salt and pepper and fill the mushroom caps. Bake the caps in the oven at 175°C for about 20 minutes or grill them in a grill tray on the grill for 10-15 minutes. A mixed salad and a herb or garlic baguette go well with the stuffed mushrooms.
