Bacon Salt
The perfect bacon salt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Bacon Salt
- 1 tbsp Peppercorns, black
- 2 tsp Bitter fennel (pharmacy)
- 130 g Bacon cubes, streaky
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 100 g Sea-Salt
Bacon Salt
- Take a pan and roast the pepper together with the bitter fennel until it is fragrant. Then take it out and let it cool in a bowl or something similar. Now add the bacon cubes and let them become crispy without adding any fat. Add spices.
- Now place one or more kitchen paper on the worktop and place the crispy bacon on it so that excess fat can escape. Then let it cool down. When both have cooled down well, you put what you have in a machine or something similar together with the sea salt.
- Powder either coarse or fine. Then pour into one or more jars with screw caps. The bacon salt can be used in many ways. A few examples: for jacket potatoes, meat, eggs, soups, stews, etc. Imagination without limits!
