Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 large potatoes
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheese, e.g. Emmental
- possibly herb curd
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and then boil them until tender. Halve the potatoes lengthwise, sandwich the cheese between them, and wrap the bacon around the potatoes. Secure with a toothpick. Fry the potatoes in a pan until the bacon is crispy. I usually add a dollop of herb quark to the potatoes before serving. Serve with salad.
