Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 160 g water, warm
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp bread spice mix
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 dry yeast
  • 15 g butter
  • ¼ tsp ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 40 minutes

Everything that comes into contact with the dough and yeast should be at room temperature. Dissolve the dry yeast and sugar in warm water. Combine the flour and all other ingredients in the mixing bowl. Knead for about 5 minutes on medium speed. When ready, the dough should not stick to your fingers and should form a smooth ball. Divide the dough into 2 pieces and roll them out lengthwise. Let them rise for 1-2 hours. Spray all over with warm water, place on a prepared baking sheet, and place in the preheated oven. Baking time: about 20 minutes at 210°C (420°F) top/bottom heat.
