Bailey's-like coffee-milk liqueur with whiskey

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks, very fresh (L)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • 250 ml coffee, strong, freshly brewed
  • 250 ml whiskey, 40% alcohol content

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

without cream, makes about 1 liter

Whisk the egg yolks and place them in a saucepan. Add the milk, powdered sugar, and freshly brewed coffee. Whisk the mixture over a bain-marie until creamy. Remove the pan from the bain-marie and stir until cold. Slowly stir in the whiskey and strain twice to remove any remaining egg. Now pour the liqueur into clean glass bottles and refrigerate.
