Without carbohydrates: a flat bread with few ingredients

Our first low-carb bread recipe uses just three ingredients.

  • You will need 3 eggs, 3 tbsp cream cheese, and ¼ tsp baking powder.
  • First, separate the eggs and beat egg whites and baking powder into egg whites.
  • Mix the egg yolk with the cream cheese and carefully fold in the beaten egg whites.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and form small flatbreads from the dough.
  • Bake them in an oven preheated to 150 degrees for about 15 minutes.

 

Sweet zucchini bread for breakfast

For breakfast, low-carb bread can be a little sweeter.

  • For the sweet version of the carbohydrate-free bread you need 5.5 cups of almond flour, 1 cup of grated zucchini, 3 eggs, ¼ cup of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 5.5 teaspoons of cinnamon and vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  • Place all the ingredients except the zucchini in a bowl and mix to form a smooth batter. Then fold in the grated zucchini.
  • Fill the dough into a loaf pan and bake the bread in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about an hour.

Hearty walnut bread without carbohydrates

The hearty walnut bread is also carbohydrate-free.

  • 1 cup of walnut butter forms the basis. You will also need ¼ cup almond flour, 4 eggs, ½ tsp each salt and baking soda, a little coconut oil, 2 tbsp flaxseed, 1 tbsp maple syrup and finally, 2 tbsp dried herbs. You can choose these according to your preferences, for example, thyme or rosemary.
  • First, mix the maple syrup with the eggs and walnut butter.
  • Mix the almond flour with the baking powder, flaxseed, salt, and herbs. Add this to the walnut butter mixture and mix to form a smooth batter.
  • Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 175 degrees in a loaf pan greased with coconut oil. After about 45 minutes it should be ready and have a nice crust.
