Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g apples, sour, unpeeled, diced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 45 g vanilla sugar
  • Cinnamon powder
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

For 18 pieces

Drizzle the apple cubes with lemon juice. Foam half the butter in a pan. Stir in the sugar and melt. Add the apple cubes and fry over high heat until the liquid becomes syrupy and lightly caramelized. Season with cinnamon and let cool. Cream the remaining butter, then stir in the egg. Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder and salt and the apple mixture. Place with a spoon, leaving enough space between each layer, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 15-20 minutes.
