Baked Apple Domino Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g confectionery (domino stones)
  • 7 small apples
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp milk
  • powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp cranberry compote or jam

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the butter into pieces. Chop the dominoes into small pieces. Cream the butter with the vanilla sugar and sugar until creamy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add the flour, baking powder, and milk and mix everything into a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a springform pan. Core the apples. Fill the apples with the dominoes and press them into the batter. Preheat the oven. Bake the cake at 150°C (300°F) for about 45 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool. Dust with powdered sugar and scatter about ½ teaspoon of cranberries on each apple.
