Baked Apple – Jam

The perfect baked apple – jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Sultanas
  • 2 tablespoon Rum
  • 25 g Chopped almonds
  • 450 g Freshly peeled apples and cut into small pieces
  • 1 Lemon fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 1: 1
  • 30 g Marzipan raw mass
  1. Wash the raisins, drain them, place them in a bowl and pour the rum over them. Let it steep for half an hour. Roast the almonds in a pan without fat.
  2. Put the prepared apples in a large saucepan. Squeeze the lemon. Mix the lemon juice, cinnamon and preserving sugar with the apples. Finally fold in the rum raisins. Bring the whole thing to a boil while stirring and let it simmer for four minutes.
  3. Remove from stove. Grate the marzipan over the top. Add roasted almonds and stir quickly. Pour into prepared twist – off glasses. Seal and turn the jars upside down for 15 minutes. Turn over and let cool.
