a nutty fruity dessert
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan-assisted oven. Cut open the tops of the apples and hollow them out. Chop the trail mix, honey, milk, and Snickers in a blender. Fill the apples with the mixture and garnish with marzipan flakes. Then place the apples in the oven for 20 minutes. For the vanilla sauce, whisk the milk, egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan until smooth. Remove the seeds from the vanilla pod and add both to the saucepan. Whisk the mixture over low heat until the sauce thickens. Caution: The mixture must not boil. Finally, remove the pod. As soon as the apples look slightly brown and crispy on the outside, remove them from the oven. Serve on a plate with the vanilla sauce and enjoy.
