Baked apples with rum raisins

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 2 apples, sour
  • 1 tbsp almonds (sticks)
  • 1 tbsp butter, flakes
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Butter, for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Soak the raisins in the rum for 20 minutes. Wash and dry the apples, then core them. Grease a suitably sized ovenproof dish with butter and place the apples in the dish. Mix the rum raisins with the almond slivers and fill the apples with the mixture. Spread the rest of the mixture around the apples in the dish. Place the butter flakes on the apples and roast them in a preheated oven at 200°C for between 30 and 35 minutes, depending on their size. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Serve with hot vanilla sauce.
