Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 60 g oat flakes, fine, alternatively other cereal flakes
- 250 g applesauce
- 1 tsp agave syrup, alternatively honey or maple syrup
- e.g. chia seeds, flax seeds or dried fruits
- possibly chocolate, to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Mix the ingredients together and let stand for 10 minutes. Press the mixture into bar shapes or spread it into a loaf pan lined with baking paper. If baking in a loaf pan, cut the dough sheet into bar sizes afterward. Bake the mixture at 170°C (convection oven) for 20-30 minutes. It will take longer in the bar pan than in the loaf pan. Optionally, melt some chocolate and spread it on one side of the bars. These baked applesauce granola bars are a delicious basic version and can be customized to your individual taste.
