Baked asparagus with nut crust

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 16 stalk(s) asparagus, white
  • 150 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • Flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the asparagus and cook for about 8 minutes. Mix the chopped hazelnuts with the breadcrumbs. Coat the asparagus first in the flour, then in the egg, and then in the nut mixture. Fry the breaded asparagus in oil or clarified butter. Delicious with leaf salad and goat cheese.
