Baked bananas

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 3 tbsp nuts, chopped (hazelnuts, peanuts, etc.)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg (freshly grated if possible)
  • 20 ml rum
  • 60 ml orange juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

in a casserole dish in the oven

Slice the bananas and place them in a greased baking dish. First, pour the orange juice and rum over the bananas (it also works without rum), then mix the nuts, cinnamon, and desiccated coconut and sprinkle them over the bananas. Then add a few flakes of butter and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes. The bananas should be lightly browned and the sauce should be simmering. Tastes great with vanilla ice cream, and if you like it even sweeter, add honey.
