Ingredients
 

  • 1 kg Fresh calamaretti
  • 2 Eggs
  • 5 tbsp Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Sunflower oil
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Clean the calamari and cut the tubes into rings
  • Put them in boiling salted water and take them out again immediately, this will make the rings firm without being cooked through, making it easier to bread them
  • Let the rings cool down and then turn them in flour and bread with the eggs and breadcrumbs
  • Heat the sunflower oil, plenty of it, in a pan and fry the breaded squid rings in it until crispy brown
  • Drain on a kitchen towel, season with salt and serve with salad and tartar sauce
