Baked cauliflower

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cauliflower or 400 g zucchini or 400 g mushrooms
  • 125 g flour
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiffly
  • 63 ml water
  • 63 ml beer
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the cauliflower, cut it into florets, and cook it in salted water until al dente. (Zucchini and mushrooms don’t need to be cooked.) Mix the flour with the liquid, oil, and salt and let stand for half an hour. Fold the stiffly beaten egg whites into the batter. Dry the vegetables and dust with flour. Then dip them in the batter with a fork. Deep-fry in a deep fryer.
