Onion rings in batter

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 onions (vegetable onions)
  • 300 g flour
  • 250 ml apple cider
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped
  • 500 g fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the onions into approximately 1 cm thick rings. Mix the flour, apple cider, eggs, salt, pepper, curry powder, and parsley into a smooth batter. Heat the oil, dip the onion rings in the batter, and fry in the hot oil until golden brown. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.
